Supporting Products from Sustainable Plantation Forestry

While forests are known to play an important role in absorbing carbon dioxide, but do you know the different of area, tree species and age will make them vary absorbing capacity. This is because young trees with their more vigorous growth, always absorb more carbon than old trees. More most tropical natural forests comprising mature trees tend to reach the extreme already in carbon sequestration. By comparison, most of these sustainable plantation forests managed through FSC organizations are young trees and thus to make a greater contribution towards capturing carbon dioxide.

To make effort in protecting the environment and resource sustainable, and to support eco-managed forests for future generations, in 2008 we started using hemlock from North American plantation forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to produce Diacrete wood wool panels. We work with the Forest Stewardship Council FSC, and its other partners to ensure more of our wood raw material comes from well-managed forests.

Join us in supporting certified sustainable forest products, and together we can help our earth greener.
